Where ComfyUI hides its workflow
Every image ComfyUI saves carries its whole workflow inside: every node, connection, model and setting. That's why you can drag a ComfyUI image onto the canvas and get the workflow back.
This tool pulls it out without opening ComfyUI: count the nodes, check the model and prompt, and download it as a workflow.json to share or keep.

Questions and answers
How do I get the workflow from a ComfyUI image?
Drop the original image into the box above, then download workflow.json. Load it in ComfyUI from the menu, or drag it onto the canvas.
Why does it say there is no workflow?
The image wasn't made with ComfyUI, or the workflow was removed. Reddit, Discord, social networks and many image hosts strip it when the image is uploaded or converted.
What is the difference between the workflow and the prompt graph?
ComfyUI saves two versions: the editor workflow, with the layout you see on the canvas, and the API graph it actually ran. We prefer the editor workflow and fall back to the API graph.
Will the workflow run on my computer?
If you have the same models and custom nodes installed. ComfyUI's manager can install missing custom nodes for you.
Does it work with Stable Diffusion WebUI images?
Those don't have a ComfyUI workflow. Use the AI Image Prompt Reader to see their prompt and settings instead.
What happens to my file?
Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, read on our servers and deleted automatically after about 24 hours. The answer is kept on a page with its own link, so you can share it. Tool result pages are never listed in search engines.
